Learn how to facilitate Creativity in your Early Years setting.

Time & Location
21 Mar 2022, 15:30 – 17:30
St John's CE Primary School, Johnson St, Radcliffe, Manchester M26 1AW, UK
About the event
Children are being pushed further and further down the route to 'academia.' Literacy and Mathematics are seen as important 'school readiness' skills and parents push these from an early age. Creativity is fast becoming squeezed out of our curricula or relegated to 'creative areas.' Creativity is an essential human skill but staff need to understand how to nurture the wonderful skills our children already possess.
Delegates will learn:
- What creativity is and how it grows.
- The role of the adult in facilitating Creative thinking.
- How to support children to problem solve independently.
- How to design a provision which reflects the Creative journey of the children.
- & More.
