Digging Deeper into Loose Parts

This 'Digging deeper' course is designed to build upto the wonderful work you're already doing with Loose Parts Play in your setting. Adults should already have a working knowledge of what Loose Parts before attending this course.

This course will cover a range of ways to embed Loose parts more within your setting. We will explore:

* Applying Scheme and Schema - Choosing resources that match the children.

* What affordance theory tells us about how children learn and how to apply to our practice.

* How to embed Loose Parts Play into all parts of your provision.

* How to support children who appear reluctant to engage in Loose Parts Play.
