Maths Birth - 4: North Yorkshire

Maths doesn’t start with numbers. There’s so much more to it! My Maths in Nursery course delves into the foundations of early maths for 0-4 year olds. 

Through this hands-on course we’ll develop your understanding of: 

* Early Maths Skills Principles of Counting (and more) 

* Number Sense Shape and Space 

* Real Problem Solving 

* Developing a Mathematically rich environment 

* The role of the adult 

This resource-rich course will support staff at all levels to plan for purposeful mathematical play which follows the needs and interests of the children.

This training blends a mixture of approaches including a presentation, workshop activities and exploration of resources. Delegates will be required to move about and should therefore wear suitable clothing and footwear (non-strenuous)
