In this follow up webinar of 'Love of Language' I'll be going a little deeper with strategies that adults can do to support learners. This webinar will touch upon phonics, reading and writing too.

Please note: A Large part of this webinar will cover the DFES definition of 'Phase 1 phonics.' Even if you don't follow 'Letters & Sounds' this will still be relevant to you. If you're in doubt please email me. 

This course is aimed at those working with 2-5+ year olds but staff working with younger staff may still find it useful.

Further strategies to support language development in provision - with a focus on more complex language including writing/reading etc.

The role phonics plays in developing reading and writing as language.

What Phase 1 phonics is and the role that 'phase 1' plays within language.

Strategies to implement Ph1 into your setting (even if you're working on Ph2 or a different scheme).

Supporting emergent writing and reading.
